Sempervivum āKalindaā is one of those hens-and-chicks that seems to have dressed for drama, stacking its pointed leaves into neat, low rosettes brushed in shifting tones of green, rose, copper, and dusky plum. Tough as nails and perfectly suited to lean, well-drained soil, it thrives in sunny rock gardens, stone troughs, and containers where its geometric good looks can be fully admired. Over time, each rosette sends out offsets on stolons, gradually weaving itself into a handsome colony.
